Dynamic Channel allocation in Cellular Netwosk have become vesy popular off late due to the,flexibility obtained bv using a y of the available channels in any cell as long as the Interfirence level is below a given thseshold. Distsibiited Resousce Allocation is popular in tnodesn day cellular system dire to the incsease in micso-cells and picocells. In our. problem we study Cellulas network under Distsihiired D-vnanzic Channel Allocation and psopose a Two Diriiensional Markov Chain model to anal-vze the pesforI I I L I I I C ~ q f lhe sytein in t e r m of Blocking psobabilities. In ow analysis, we consider all the mobiles and base stations lo bepesfictly power controlled, i.e. each Mobile (Base station) transmits on any channel. such that the signal strength received at its cosresponding Base station (Mobile) is unity isrespeclive ofthe actual position ofthe Mobile in the cell. We pet.forin this analysis,for a linear highway system and a two dirnensional cellular system modelling the shape of the cells to be petject circles.
